It was such a pleasure getting to know Kristen and Michael over the months leading up to their wedding on September 17, 2017.   We hit it off immediately from our first phone conversation, where we talked as much about the X-Men as we did their wedding, to their spirited engagement photography session, and finally to their big day!  Kristen and Mike stayed in adjacent rooms aboard the Fabulous Queen Mary of Long Beach the day before along with their bridesmaids, groomsmen, and most of the wedding guests.  They spent the bridal prep moments exchanging gifts and having laughs.  Kristen was stunning in her bridal dress and her choice of headpiece, instead of a traditional veil, gave her an individualized appearance that was both personal and glowing.

The ceremony was a warm and intimate affair that took place on the gazebo at the stern of the Queen Mary.  The stories that were told about how they met and their perpetual love for each other left not a dry eye in the house.  During their portraits after the ceremony, Kristen and Michael were ablaze with loving energy and flowed naturally from one pose to another.  For our last few shots we caught the the beautiful long beach skyline in its post-sunset glow.

Then it was off to the reception that took place in The Royal Salon.   Everybody had an amazing time as they ate and drank and danced the night away.  This was truly a fairy tale of a night.
