On April 22, 2017 I had the honor of photographing the marriage of Anabel and Eileen, two girls whose love for each other seemed immediately palpable when we first met several months ago for their engagement session.  you can see those photos here.  Their wedding was hosted at a truly unique venue, Cal Aero Events in Chino California.  Cal Aero is an actual airplane hangar renovated to host weddings.  Its themed design created an ambiance that immediately differentiated itself from so many wedding venues and had the guests buzzing!

We started the day off with bridal prep photos inside the second floor bridal sweet with all the bridesmaids.  Instead of the traditional heels, the entire party went with flashy cowboy boots.  Downstairs, Eileen and the gang were finishing off their prep and had some tequila shots to cap it off.

The ceremony was an amazing sight as Eileen was taxied in through the runway and right up to the ceremony processional  by one of Cal Aero’s planes, the 1939  Lockhead, a beautiful aluminum-lined plane that shined bright under the April sky.

While guests enjoyed drinks at the outdoor bar during the cocktail hour, Anabel and Eileen headed out with me for the romantics photo session.  We utilized Cal Aero’s environment to create a variety of moods and textures and even managed to capture a pretty amazing sunset.

The night progressed as the hangar doors opened and the reception started.   Anabel, Eileen, and their friends and family ate and drank and danced until the late hours of the night.
