Last week I had the honor of photographing the wedding of Janet and Josh! Janet and Josh are Korean, just like me. This means that during the engagement session, we were able to talk extensively about Korean Food, which is objectively the GREATEST FOOD ON PLANET EARTH!! Also during their engagement session, as well as during part of the wedding, Janet and Josh wore the hanboks, a traditional Korean formal attire often worn at Korean weddings. This brought me way, way, way, back (I’m very old) to when I was still living in Korean where I photographed my first wedding! It was my Uncles wedding and I was five years old and my camera gear was a yellow disposable Kodak that my dad gave me. I wish I could go back in time, watch myself taking pictures, tap myself on the shoulder, and say something like, “hey kid, your composition sucks, and you’re underexposing everything!” Thankfully for Janet and Josh, I’m most likely a tad bit better than I was back then!
